Who’s The Man – May ’19

May was an interesting month.  I was bombarded with calls, texts and emails from people who did not have any serious intentions.  In business, we accept that this is part of life, which made me appreciate the wonderful friends who do value and respect, even more.

There was one man, who interestingly enough, started out as someone I wasn’t sure had serious intentions but was quite a gentleman in our meeting.  I never expect gifts.  When I do, its always a treat because I know it means there was extra effort made.  Needless to say, when we met, I was shocked by the shopping bags he was carrying, all laden with my favorite things.

It would be remiss of me not to acknowledge this generous sentiment.  However, and perhaps more importantly, I am glad that I gave this gentleman a second chance.  He was sweet, sharp, interesting and sunny.  It reminded me that some chances are worth taking.
