Lip Service
I often say the sexiest part of the body is the brain. However, I realize that I am not recognizing something even more important, more emotionally powerful. The power of a smile.
The most subtle of gestures.
It might surprise you to think that something so simple and easy to do, is often overlooked and not practiced. As a resident of NYC, I rarely see smiles. It isn’t the default expression. Perhaps it is easier to remain with a stoic expression. I’m even guilty of it. I wear a neutral expression most of the time, except when I am truly living in the moment….
So read my lips.
What makes a memory? What heads up a moment?
Like good posture, smiling makes you feel strong and invigorated both inside and out. There are so many words an emotions that result from a small upward curve of the lips. A little red lipstick on them and you have the kindling you need to start a fire…
Are you ready to feel my burn?
Yes I like to talk but for a moment, or two or three, my smile will voice my thoughts. It could be an excited grin, or just a hint of smile, letting you know that it’s my turn to tease.
Our memory now begins..
