Sundae Laughs

Dedicated to my friend, “Jimmy.”

I felt compelled to write a special post for a friend who gave me a lovely evening.  Thank you for inviting me out to see the venerable Mel Brooks.  It was so much fun to see this great entertainer, writer, performer still at his best at 92 years old.  The evening was intimate with hilarious stories, fabulous audience energy and topped off my incredible ice cream sundaes at Serendipity!

My birthday isn’t until July, but this was an awesome present!  Laughter and ice cream are  not just the best medicines but also an opportunity to keep the innocence we had as children within us, alive no matter what age we are!
