The last month has been quite hectic.  I have neglected this blog partially because of creative drain and because I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to say.  Then I remembered why I started this blog in the first place – mainly for me to talk, and hope an audience found what I had to say interesting, if not mildly entertaining.

A week ago I had a really amazing experience driving high performance go-karts.  It has been 13 years since I have gotten behind the wheel of car.  You can imagine how nervous I was and this was just a go-kart!   Of course it didn’t take long to get the hang of it, even when racing against 8 other cars.  The turns were tight and took a certain level of concentration. This was no Sunday drive!

It was great fun and made me appreciate that you never have to be out of control to enjoy the adrenaline rush.  Letting go is a decision.  The decision to enjoy the moment without a thought in the head as you let your body, just react…to revved up passion.
