Himeros & Pathos

The Greek god of  sexual desire, Himeros.  He surveys carefully,  choosing his lover wisely.  A large heart, larger brain and a thirst for what is carnal.  It is fruitless to retard or thwart his advances.  You wouldn’t want to anyway .  There is a gentleness and whimsy to his dominance.  Perhaps it is because he is so comfortable in his own skin.

His desire not only for the body but for life and the intellectual mind, seeps through his pores, and that energy is infectious.  You kneel to please him.  You bend to his wanting.

Pathos.  God of lustful desire and yearning.  He teases and stirs.  He makes you beg.  He lets you feel it, taste it but it is fleeting.  One that is deserving of lust’s attention does not seek it out. This powerful hand finds its caress when least expected.
