A Tale of Moe…
It’s not easy being Moe. I’m a 6lb Barracuda who spends the day in the warm Caribbean waters. I prefer hanging around Barbados, actually. I have a reputation for being a scary-looking scavenger but I prefer to think of myself as a bit… misunderstood. I know what I want. I know what I like, why waste pursuing anything less?
Im an introverted fish, preferring to roam the warm Caribbean waters solo v. in a school. While my looks are intimidating, I generally don’t seek out human flesh to feed on. However, I am fighter when I am caught on a line.
I wish I could say that I have never lost a pole fight but alas, this memoir, penned from fish heaven. I met my match a few weeks ago when I was caught by a female. It was an honor to be her first catch. As much as I wish I was still swimming in the warm blue ocean, I was happy to sacrifice my lonely life to be served on a platter to a group with a voracious appetite.
Quote of the day – “Give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” – Chinese proverb
