Frequent Flying

President’s day/Valentine weekend was a great weekend.  I was traveling a bit but it was worth it as I got into D.C. Sunday afternoon for some dungeon play at the Dark Odyssey conference.  It is always worth it to attend this conference, if only for one night because it brings people from all over the world to promote education and open fun across all alternative lifestyles.  The producers of the event, make sure that everything from -the presenters to the dungeon set up and events are run seamlessly.

I had the wonderful opportunity to be suspended by the well-known beautiful, cross-dressing rigger, waterLilly..  She is not only an amazing rigger but also world-class scuba diver.   She is absolutely the sexiest CD that I have ever met but more importantly she has Picasso-like rope skills.  I  like that she is as deft w the rope as she is intricate.  I was first suspended by her at Dark Odyssey 3 years ago and so now it has become a tradition.

Being up in the tree for 40 minutes while she teased me with two Hitcahi wands (they were tied to me as well) and was spanking and flogging me, created a multi-dimensional experience so satisfying that I didn’t have the need to play with anyone else.  And don’t assume I had an orgasm…never underestimate the power of will.  😉

One thing I realized the next morning, as I realized that only 1 of 3 playdates I had pre-arranged actually happened, was how important adapting is in the process of change.  I know that sounds contradictory but a tenet of Darwinism teaches us this v. same principe that we forget, at least once in our lifetimes.

At 39 years old, I have been in a better place in my life than I am now.  I have gained unbelievable clarity and a quiet confidence that as my compass.  It takes more zeal to be satisfied with what you have because we are programmed that we have is in fact, never enough.
