State of Openness

According to Sun Tzu, “knowing the other and knowing oneself, in one hundred battles no danger.”   I would like to think this applies to one’s life in general, not necessarily just in times of conflict.

People around me always questioned how I could give so much of my so freely.  The truth is that I struggle too.  While I often try to live in a state of vulnerability and grace, my emotions in the moment get the best of me sometimes.  Although I may get hurt, which happened to me quite recently with someone I opened up to, I take comfort knowing that passion and vulnerability is my greatest strength and asset, giving me the wisdom and clarity to know myself.  It is your greatest offensive strategy in life.  This is what Sun Tzu refers to.  When you are truly in touch with yourself, your inner strength is your guide and a compass for others.  That is bravery.  Courage.  To have clarity with one’s mind and heart.  An enlightened state of being.

I have made some risky moves in my life.  I have had great failure.  I have had tremendous success.  I have suffered great loss.  Through it all I have learned to always have hope.  I have learned empathy.

The world is made of fine lines with deep impact.  Make yours.

Yours truly,

Your kinky courtesan xx
