Choices

It takes guts to be vulnerable.  It takes guts to allow yourself to be exposed to another person, wholly  and truly.  We make choices every day.  The decisions we make have  a reverberating effect on the environment and people around us that is often more powerful than we realize.

I don’t want to live my life fighting hard to maintain control.  I want to savor the moments that are created for what they are and not turn them into a story.  I recently had an experience with someone who I was tremendously intimate with and I acted v. inappropriately afterwards.  He gave me something so beautiful, intense and intimate that it should celebrate these experiences not run from it.

We can only learn, grow and move forward.  I am conscious of my behavior and make the choice to work on allowing myself to be more an open and vulnerable every day because that is my greatest strength and the most beautiful part of me that I can share with another.
